About This Tour

Nyungwe Forest National Park is one of the oldest and most biodiverse rainforests in Africa, covering 1,019 km² in southwest Rwanda. The park is home to 13 primate species including chimpanzees and Angola colobus, over 300 bird species, and an incredible diversity of flora.

The park's signature attraction is the canopy walkway — a 200-metre suspension bridge through the forest canopy offering breathtaking views over the treetops. Chimpanzee tracking follows habituated chimp communities through ancient forest, while guided hiking trails lead to stunning waterfalls and tea plantation panoramas.
